Annette Lareau
Advisory Board Member
Annette Lareau is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Pennsylvania. She studies how class and race matter in the transmission of advantage across generations. She is the author of the award-winning books Unequal Childhoods and Home Advantage. Most recently, she published a book on qualitative methods: Listening to People. Her latest book with Blair Sackett, We Thought It Would be Heaven: Refugees in an Unequal America will be published by University of California Press in 2023.
